These paintings grew out of affection for early-mid 20th century kit homes and desire for 'home'. The majority are based on images of kit homes and plans produced by Sears, Montgomery Ward, New Plan Service, William Radford Company, Aladdin Homes, Lewis Manufacturing, and Sterling System Homes. Others are pulled from contemporary east coast real estate markets.
